At the latest Pitti Uomo event in Florence, marking its 104th edition, we were particularly impressed by the French company "MPM, Maison Philippe Montagne" for the originality that permeated its stand, designed in a striking "Art Deco" style with a luxurious and modernist aesthetic. It was impossible not to notice the luggage and accessories with clean, essential lines, "crowned" by highly sophisticated embellishments. The owner, Philippe, kindly showcased various metallic suitcases made from stainless steel and titanium alloys—extremely durable yet remarkably lightweight!
"At the moment, this collection is the only one of its kind on the market," he explained. "Thanks to these etched sides, it’s not only distinctive, as you can see, but also highly functional. You ask if it’s all handmade? Of course, everything is of the highest quality, crafted between Italy and France, emphasizing that I don’t care for mass-produced items. Look, next to this bag with a carabiner to secure it, I’ll show you the various suitcases in cabernet, black, silver, and gold, finished internally with ultra-soft microfiber. We all know practicality is essential for traveling 'lightly,' so versatility is key for those who accompany us on the move!"
Clearly, this is a luxury brand.

"I’m thrilled," he continued. "We’ve had a tremendous number of buyers and visitors. The numbers speak for themselves, with over 17,000 attendees at this edition of Pitti Uomo. These refined and elegant pouches I’m showing you were created for passports, general cardholders, and business cards. On this side, our production includes 'bags' designed to be worn at the waist, over the shoulder, or even 'crossbody' on the arm, as I’m demonstrating now!"
We laughed heartily, observing the versatility of these accessories, ready for use with phones and chargers.

All'ultimo evento di Pitti Uomo a Firenze arrivata alla centoquattresima edizione , siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti dall'azienda francese "MPM, Maison Philippe Montagne" per l'originalità che si respirava nello stand in pieno stile "Art Decò " grazie all'estetica lussuosa e modernista di gran richiamo. Innegabile fare cadere l'occhio sulla valigeria ed accessori dalle linee pulite ed essenziali , 'coronate' da ornamenti estremamente sofisticati. Il proprietario Philippe, gentilissimo mostra varie valigie metallizzate fatte in lega d'acciaio inossidabile e titanio. E quindi resistentissime nel loro peso leggero!
"Al momento questa collezione e ' l'unica presente sul mercato - spiega - grazie anche a questi lati incisi in acquaforte e, oltre ad essere particolare, come lei vede è anche estremamente funzionale. Mi domanda se e' tutto artigianale? Ma certo, tutto d'alta qualità realizzato tra l'Italia e la Francia, sottolineando che non amo le cose in serie. Vede, accanto a questa borsa con moschettone per bloccarla, le mostro le varie valigie color cabernet, nero, silver e Gold, rifinite internamente in microfibra morbidissima al tatto. Sappiamo tutti che la praticità è indispensabile per muoversi 'in leggerezza ' e quindi negli spostamenti è basilare l'ottima versatilità ...di chi ci accompagna!
Quindi decisamente un brand di lusso.
"Diciamo di gran gusto, esclusivo, dedicato alla moda maschile.
Sono molto contento, abbiamo avuto moltissimi buyer e visitatori, tra l'altro i fatti parlano chiaro viste le oltre 17000 presenze per questa edizione di "Pitti Uomo". "Il nostro come lei vede è , uno stand iconico, dedicato agli amanti del viaggio, dello stile, dell'arte e della bellezza. Queste varie pochette che le mostro raffinate ed elegantissime, sono state create per i documenti da passaporto, portacarte in generale, nonché biglietti da visita. In questo lato la nostra produzione ha creato 'borsetti' ad hoc indossati "a cintura", a spalla, ed ancora " di traverso " alle braccia come adesso faccio con lei! "
Ridiamo di gusto osservando la versatilità di tali accessori pronti all'uso anche per cellulari e ricarica.
La vedo soddisfatto signor Philippe!

Effettivamente ogni pezzo è un opera in se', tanto ...da non smettere mai di guardarla!
